Dear Parents and Guardians,

We hope that you are all doing well in our new living and learning environment. Thank you all very much for completing our parent survey; the information you provided will be very helpful as we continue to provide remote learning for your children. We will share the data from the survey on our website www.SAU85.org if families are interested in reading about the details.

As we continue to navigate what is working best for each child during this remote learning process, please continue to provide feedback to your child’s teacher(s). We understand that student learning happens at different paces and in different experiences and that parents have different schedules and availability. Keeping our teachers aware of what is working or not working is important as we continue in this remote process.

As we enter our third week of remote learning, we understand that the social/emotional well-being of our students and families may become more stressed. If your child or family needs support, please feel free to reach out to our administration, guidance counselors or adjustment counselor; email addresses are all available at www.sau85.org.  Also Lynn Lyons has some great resources on her website: https://www.lynnlyonsnh.com/

We continue to have food boxes that can be delivered to your home that offer hot and cold breakfast and lunch to children/families that have qualified for free and reduced lunch. If you have questions or concerns about additional free and reduced options, please contact Cindy Lamontagne at clamontagne@sunapeeschools.org or Robert Fullerton at rfullerton@sunapeeschools.org . If any family is struggling with food shortages, please contact either Cindy or Robert so we can assist you as well.

Please be safe and kind to one another. As these times continue to change day to day, we will keep you updated with any changes to the remote learning process and District decisions.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
